Prayer & Bible Study

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword.” (Hebrews 4:12)

It is important that we meet together collectively to talk to God in prayer. We, as a church, do this during our prayer times, which are conducted between 19:30 and 20:30 on a Tuesday. Some weeks we also have a short Bible Study session before our prayer time.  Discussions are interesting and informative and everybody, whether man or woman, young and old, can participate.

Anyone is welcome to come and witness our prayer times. If you have any issues you would like us to pray about you can bring them along, or, alternatively, email them to us using the form on our home page and we will gladly pray about them for you.  As with every other meeting in the church, all are welcome. It should be noted that only men who are church members (men who have been baptised and added into the church) may participate audibly in the prayer meeting (as outlined in Acts 2:41-42). Women do not speak audibly (as taught in 1 Corinthians 14:34), but they can pray silently. Visitors are welcome to join in the singing and pray silently if they wish.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
